Feeling festive? Then join in with the Frankwell Advent Windows!
This excellent event, organised by Tim Vasby-Burnie, vicar of St George’s Church in Frankwell will have 24 local businesses unveil an advent window at their premises, inspired by a Christmas Carol.
Each unveiling will be performed by a local dignitary and you are all invited to come along and see it live – we will be featuring photographs from each location as they come, beginning with the unveiling of The Wheatsheaf Christmas Window. on December 1st.
The scheme ends on Christmas Eve with a Singing Trail starting at the Boathouse at 10:30am. The singers will visit each window display with a rendering of the carol that inspired it before repairing to St George’s Church for the final window, Mince Pies, Mulled Wine and other seasonal goodies!
Don’t be a scrooge, join in the funky Frankwell Advent Windows fun!
