We really love the Pour House, beautifully designed (their “Frankwell” mural features on all of our PR) and lovely staff so it was with some trepidation that we heard that owner Paul Davies was bowing out. The good news is though that the new owners, Albert’s Shed are keeping the style and culture intact. In fact the main change is in the name – Albert’s Pour House is here!

Funky Frankwell is alive!!
This site has been built with the support of businesses in Frankwell who have felt that the district had been overlooked in the flood of promotional materials about central Shrewsbury. In fact Frankwell is far more interesting than the town centre! For a start, we are entirely independent – that means no Starbucks, no McDonalds, no Domino’s. We have our own coffee shops, superb cocktail bars, funky cafes, cracking creative businesses and three of the best restaurants in Shrewsbury!
Frankwell’s reputation as a foodie haven receives a summery boost with the opening of AleOli yTu on the Welsh Bridge – a slice of the Mediterranean!
Fresh from the success of the AleOli cafe in the Market Hall, AleOli y Tu is a beautifully decorated tapas bar perfectly complementing delicious dishes of Chorizo, Jamón Ibérico, Paella and of course a glass of Crianza!
Try it, you’ll love it!
